The Association of Dogs and Cats Homes Conference

The 2014 ADCH Conference will be held on Thursday 8 and Friday 9 May 2014 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.

This hotel has been chosen for its excellent conference facilities and transport links. Just 8 miles outside Birmingham and situated on the NEC complex, it has superb access via air, rail and road.

The 2014 conference will feature two distinct speaker streams:

Operational Stream
Featured speakers will cover topics related to the welfare of cats and dogs, the core aims of ADCH member organisations including veterinary care, behaviour, environmental enrichment and day to day care.

Management Stream
Featured speakers will cover topics essential to the development and management of animal welfare organisations and charities such as marketing, fundraising and governance.

The two speaker streams are designed to appeal to professionals from the animal welfare sector from those carrying out and managing the day to day care of the animals through to the senior management and trustee base responsible for the financing, governance and marketing of organisations.

Petplan are again sponsoring the Animal Charity Awards, which includes dinner, on the Thursday evening. Details of how to nominate can be found by clicking on the button on this page.

We regret to advise that the 2014 conference is now sold out and no further registrations can be accepted. The ADCH conference in 2015 will be held in Bournemouth at the Bournemouth International Centre on the 22nd & 23rd April 2015.

The speaker programme is now available to download.

Blue Cross are organising the 2014 event, if you have any queries please contact Frances Eke by email at adch.conference@bluecross.org.uk or call 01993 867 225.
