Jerry Green Dog Rescue rehomes unwanted and abandoned dogs in Lincolnshire, Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire.

Caring adoption policies and the pioneering Meet & Match system, introduced in 2008, ensure dogs find the best possible new homes with loving families.

The upgrading of our five rescue centres is  ongoing and a brand new complex is taking shape on our Nottinghamshire site.

We are now seeking a talented Chief Executive Officer to lead our dedicated 50-strong staff and enthusiastic army of volunteers. Working closely with our Board of Trustees, the successful candidate will set realistic targets to deliver the charity’s welfare, business and fundraising plans.

Passionate about rescue dogs and with senior management experience and an understanding of the demands of the charitable sector, the new CEO will be based in North Lincolnshire.

Blue Cross, Torbay Rehoming Centre Centre Manager

Salary £23,703 - £27,173 per annum

Ideally a live in post, for which accommodation is available 

We need a confident, enthusiastic and an articulate communicator with an excellent knowledge of pet care, preferably in a welfare environment. Ability to foster positive public relations and good IT skills are important. Managing a team of 10, the Centre Manager has overall responsibility for the site including buildings, property, staff, volunteers and all Blue Cross animals. Knowledge of health and safety requirements is essential. 

Applicants will have proven experience in successful business management to include motivational team management and training, budget development and control, customer care, and running efficient administration systems.

A full driving licence is essential. 

The successful candidate will work a 42 hour week on a locally determined rota which will include bank holiday and weekend working.

Blue Cross, based in Central & West Regional Fostering Manager Central & West

We are looking for a third manager to join our dynamic fostering team.  This is a small home based team whose role it is to manage a diverse group of volunteer fosterers and further education colleges that successfully care for and rehome cats on our behalf countrywide. 

We need to have a self -motivated, enthusiastic manager with great people skills. The aim of the manager is to increase the number of cats rehomed through the network by recruiting new schemes thereby extending the work of Blue

Cross in their region. Central & West region currently includes the West Country and South Wales and extends over to Andover and up as far as Solihull.

The Bella Moss Foundation is a non-profit charity with no paid staff. We promote prudent antimicrobial use and hygiene in human and veterinary medicine. It was set up in 2005 by Jill Moss, an actress, following the death of her dog, Bella, from a badly managed MRSA infection, and has developed into an international champion of good practice linking patients and veterinary clients with best practice resources and access to good advice.

We have an unrivalled opportunity for a volunteer Google AdWords / PPC Manager to join our charity.

You'll be responsible for our digital marketing strategy managing Google AdWords/ PPC across channels such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Yahoo, Bing and Ad Networks.

As our Google AdWords / PPC Manager, your duties will include:

* Ensuring monthly tasks are fully planned and achieved on time

* Creating new ideas and strategies to achieve results for the charity.
