Membership Become A Member The ADCH are actively expanding the membership of the Association as we feel standards will rise with more organisations onboard. To qualify for membership, your organisation must comply with all of the following: The organisation must be not for profit. The organisation must be involved in the rescue and/or rehoming of cats and/or dogs. The organisation must where possible comply with the aspirations contained within the Code of Practice and any future ‘good standards’ publications produced.

Applications for membership should be made in writing to the Secretary . A visit will then be arranged so that at least two members of the Executive Committee can meet with the applicant at their location and discuss the ADCH. The Executive Committee will then be presented with a proposal from those Executive Committee Members who visited the shelter/rehoming centre and a vote will take place. The annual subscription fee for new members is £50.
